The Business of the Town
There are in the town of Arenzville eighty dwelling houses, with about five hundred inhabitants. The town is in a flourishing condition, and the following mentioned branches of businesses are there:
Estate of Herman Engelbach--General store of merchandise, lumber yard and flouring mill, with five runs of stones and a capacity of eighty bbls. of flour per day; also an elevator.
Hysinger & Graham--General store of merchandise, clothing, boots and shoes. Sale, last year, about $30,000.
J. L. Dyer--General store of merchandise.
Rigler & Shoopman--Grocery store.
L. Adams--Grocery store.
Cire & Cire--Books, stationery and notions.
Swope & Yeck--Drugs and hardware.
